Every family has days when getting out of the house feels like a puzzle. Nap schedules, school runs, work calls and sometimes even the simplest errand becomes a production. And while we love seeing you at the workshop, we also know travelling in isn’t always convenient.

For smaller bookings, or for parents who simply need an easier option that day, Uber Courier can be a brilliant way to send your children’s goods to us safely. It’s quick, trackable, and gives you one less thing to think about.

Here’s how it works.

1. Start by making your Pram Shed booking

Begin on our website and choose the service you need.
When you’re asked how you’d like to get your items to us, select:

→ “I Will Drop Off My Items”

Even though you won’t be dropping off in person, this option lets us know you’ll be arranging your own transport – whether that’s you, a family member, or a trusted courier such as Uber.

You’ll then choose your drop-off day and time at checkout.
This is the slot we’ll be ready to receive your courier.

2. Before you book a courier, check your Uber app

Uber Courier isn’t yet available in every postcode.
The simplest way to check is to enter our workshop address into the app:

If Uber Courier appears as an option for your area, you’re good to go.
If not, you may need to choose another courier or plan to drop off in person.

3. Once your slot is booked, arrange your Uber Courier

After checkout, open the Uber app and choose a courier that suits the size of the items you’re sending:

Motorbike Courier
For smaller or soft items like seat liners, footmuffs, covers, clothing, accessories.

Car Courier
For larger items like buggies, car seats, carrycots.

Set the drop-off location to our address above.

This helps the driver find the correct unit inside Containerville and ensures the handover goes smoothly.

4. Time the pickup one hour before your chosen slot

If your Pram Shed booking is for 12:00–13:00, book your courier for around 11:00.
This gives enough time for London traffic while keeping the delivery within your booked window.

5. Choose “Meet at Door”

Select “Meet at Door” so your driver hands the items directly to us, rather than leaving them unattended.

We’ll take your items straight inside, and you can get back to your day.

6. Track your delivery from start to finish

Uber will give you a live tracking link, so you can follow your items in real time.
Once the driver marks the delivery as complete, your app will update you and we’ll confirm when everything is safely in our hands.

It’s simple, reassuring, and means you don’t have to juggle travel plans alongside family life.

A small reminder

If Uber Courier isn’t available in your postcode or if it doesn’t appear as an option when you try to book  don’t worry. You’re always welcome to drop off in person during your booked slot.
