Marketplace Terms & Conditions
Before placing a marketplace collection order with Pram Shed, please read and accept the following terms. By ticking the box at checkout you confirm that you have understood and agree to them.
1. Item condition & completeness
It is your responsibility as the buyer to ensure that all assembly pieces, accessories and components for your purchased item are present and ready for collection. Before booking, you must contact the seller and request:
- A photograph of all items being sold, laid out clearly so every part can be seen.
- A short video of the product fully assembled and in working order.
All scratches, marks, defects or signs of wear must be identified and agreed upon before the collection booking is made. Pram Shed accepts no liability for undisclosed condition issues discovered after collection.
2. Seller location
The seller must be located within our active courier service area. Collections cannot be arranged for addresses outside our coverage zones. It is your responsibility to confirm the seller’s postcode is within our service area before booking.
3. Courier fees
Courier collection fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, including where a collection does not proceed due to seller unavailability or a change of mind.
4. Order cancellations & refunds
Order refunds (excluding courier fees) are only available if the booking is cancelled at least 48 hours before the scheduled collection date and time. Cancellation requests made within 48 hours of the collection will not be eligible for a refund.
5. Due diligence
Pram Shed acts solely as a courier and intermediary service and is not a party to the sale between buyer and seller. You are responsible for exercising appropriate due diligence when agreeing a purchase. We strongly encourage you to verify the seller’s identity and the item’s condition before proceeding.
