Welcome to Pram Shed
We’re Anthony and Joanna, parents to three children at different stages: a toddler, a child in reception and a teenager. Parenting across these ages has shown us just how quickly children grow out of their essentials, from prams to clothes to toys. This inspired us to create Pram Shed, a place that helps families make the most of what they already have.
Our mission is simple: to help families care for and restore the items they love, especially those that may be out of warranty but still have plenty of life left. We are a parent-to-parent service, not a brand-authorised centre. We are just families helping other families keep good things going.
What started as a small buggy cleaning service has grown into something much bigger than we imagined. We now offer a growing menu of cleaning and care services for prams, car seats, highchairs, toys and more.
Thanks to the lovely support of our parent and carer community we have already saved hundreds and hundreds of children’s goods, returning them to families looking their best or passing them on to others who need them. We are proud to work with nurseries and local families who trust us with their most-used items and every week new parents spread the word and entrust us with their favourites. It means the world to us.
Giving Back with Ivy Street Family Centre
One of the projects closest to our hearts is our partnership with Ivy Street Family Centre. On their behalf, we collect donations from our community, deep clean each item with care and share them with families who truly need them.
This work is so important to us — and it’s only possible because of people like you.
If you have something you no longer need that could be cleaned and shared, you can drop it off with your scheduled items, or we’ll collect it if you’ve booked a courier.
We’re especially looking for:
- Prams and buggies
- Bath seats
- Clothes (ages 2 to 5)
- Children’s shoes
- Moses baskets
- Half packs of nappies
